2024 Bianco di grigioPinot grigio

For some reason it has never crossed our mind in 13 years of farming Rorick Heritage Vineyard that we should make anything other than a Ramato from our Pinot gris grapes until 2024, when we decided to make a little bit of white wine out of this fruit just for fun. Following a quick light treading, it was pressed and fermented in neutral oak. After one year on the lees, it was racked and bottled in December 2025. The result? Holy Smokes! It’s so good that now we’re hoping to have enough grapes to make it again in the future. It's not your average sharp, characterless Pinot grigio found on every chain restaurant wine list in the country. Basic? Hardly! Our Bianco di grigio has wonderful balance, bringing fresh acidity, elegant texture, compelling aromatics, and flavors that will have you reaching for your glass for sip after sip.
